ORTEC Racing and Mark Green Prepare for Bristol

Greenville, SC, August 19, 2003 – ORTEC Racing, a motorsports organization headquartered in Greenville, SC, is pleased to announce that Mark Green will be driving the #96 car in Bristol for the Food City 250. The race is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2003, and will be nationally televised on TNT.

Mark Green is a veteran NASCAR Busch Series driver who brings a wealth of experience to ORTEC Racing. His career is composed of 168 races, which include thirteen top 10 finishes and one top 5 finish. Mark's consistency is evidenced by his completion of 88.2% of all laps over the course of his 8-year Busch Series career.

Mark comes from a storied racing family. His older brother, David, was the 1994 NASCAR Busch Series champion. Mark's younger brother, Jeff, was the 2000 NASCAR Busch Series Champion. ORTEC Racing secured a top 20 finish earlier this year at Bristol, and looks forward to improving on that this time with Mark Green behind the wheel.
