Guardian Angel Sponsors Green, Robinson At Pikes Peak, Alcohol test strips
manufacturer based in Colorado Springs
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Guardian Angel Personal Alcohol Test Strips will sponsor
the #28 Ford of driver Mark Green and owner Jay Robinson in Saturday's Gould
Pumps 200 NASCAR Busch Series race at Pikes Peak International Raceway. Guardian
Angel is based Colorado Springs, Col., just a few miles north of the speedway.
"Having a local sponsor with such a quality product is great for us, and
we're pleased as we can be," said Robinson, whose organization also fields
the #39 Yahoo! Ford of driver Tina Gordon and the #49 Advil Ford of driver
Derrike Cope.
"I know Mark Green and the guys on the Guardian Angel team will work hard
for them, and give them a good run," he added.
Green, a native of Owensboro, Ky., is a top veteran campaigner in the NASCAR
Busch Series. He and his brothers, Jeff and Mark, along with Cup drivers
Michael Waltrip and Jeremy Mayfield, lead the charge from an area which has
become a "cradle for race car drivers." Former Cup champion Darrell Waltrip
was the first driver from Owensboro to reach the top levels of NASCAR racing.
Colorado entrepreneur Amanda Beihl, Guardian Angel's CEO, is leading her
company's first foray into major motorsports sponsorship.
"This is a great opportunity for Guardian Angel Personal Alcohol Test Strips
to be part of a growing sport, and one that has truly grown in Colorado," Beihl
said. "We are very excited with the weekend ahead."
Guardian Angel Personal Alcohol Test Strips offer the public a convenient
and reliable way to monitor their alcohol level. The test is used by individuals,
parents, law enforcement agencies, safe houses, drug and alcohol awareness
programs and schools, among other entities. Beihl acquired Guardian Angel
as a natural progression from her home drug kit testing company. Further
information of both products is found at www.guardianangel.com and www.homedrugtestingkit.com.
Jay Robinson Racing, in its fourth season of operation, is one of the fastest-growing
teams in NASCAR. Robinson, a Charlotte, N.C., native who is a successful
businessman, founded the team as a high-value endeavor that offers high-end
equipment and efforts, while proving to be one of the most cost-efficient
teams in the sport.
