Green Brothers Excited For Annual Tournament

Celebrity Tournament Tees Off in August

MOORESVILLE, N.C.- The Green Brothers are ready to once again give back to the racing community they grew up in. Founders of the Green Foundation, Jeff and Mark Green will host the Sixth Annual Green Brothers Celebrity Golf Tournament sponsored by General Mills on Wednesday, August 3 at the Summitt Country Club in Owensboro, Ky. The event will also include a silent auction to raise money for different charitable organizations and a meet-and-greet with celebrities.

“It’s hard to believe how much this tournament has grown the past several years,” said Jeff Green. “We’re hoping for another big turnout this year to help out some great organizations. We are thankful that General Mills has stepped up again this year to sponsor the tournament. We continue to have an awesome amount of support from the people in the racing community. It makes us excited about this year’s event.”

A list of stars already confirmed for this year’s tournament include Jeff and Mark Green, Kyle Petty, Jason Keller, Larry McReynolds and more. They all hope to top last years mark of over $80,000 raised in funds. The proceeds will be distributed to different organizations in the Green’s hometown community as well as the racing community.

“We really want this year to be better than last,” commented Mark Green. “The people of Owensboro and in the racing community have really made this event special. We are looking forward to another great tournament this year for an awesome cause.”
