Vassarette plans extensive marketing effort

Alpharetta, Ga. – Vassarette and Keith Coleman Racing announced a renewed partnership for both Mark Green and Kim Crosby in the #23 and #26 KCR entries.

“This is a continuation of our sponsorship commitment,” said Art DeCesaro, vice president and general manager of Vassarette. “Mark has done a great job since coming on board and Kim is an exciting new driver that has an incredible amount of potential. We see a great opportunity to promote our brand with Kim.”

Vassarette sells intimate apparel in several of America’s largest retailers. As a centerpiece of Vassarette’s efforts, the company will be sponsoring driver and show car appearances at eight different race-location Wal-Mart stores throughout the rest of the season.

“This gives us the chance to work in conjunction with Wal-Mart and help everyone,” DeCesaro said. “We want to give our drivers the chance to interact with our customers and give the general public a chance to see a race car close up. By making these appearances at selected Wal-Mart locations we hope to generate excitement both in the individual stores and throughout the entire area.”

“There have been a lot of rumors about KCR and Vassarette out there for the past few weeks,” said Keith Coleman, team owner. “It’s been tough to sit quietly by but we’ve been working on this for quite some time. Our focus has always been how we can compete as a team and meet the needs of our sponsors. I’m delighted to say that we’ve found a way to do that to everyone’s satisfaction.”
