Green in Kansas and 1 Year for KCR
Eddyville, Ky. – This weekend Mark Green and crew
will be traveling to Kansas City where he will be attempting
to qualify the #23 BMAR Chevrolet into the United Way 300.
This weekend marks the 1 year anniversary of the first Busch
Series start for Keith Coleman Racing. Last October, Mark
Green ran KCR's inaugural race in the #26. Green qualified
26th for the Mr. Goodcents 300. Leaving the race prematurely
with engine trouble, he finished 34th.
Green will be forced to make the field on time in the #23
BMAR Chevrolet. With 54 cars in the field, he is one of
23 drivers competing for the remaining 12 starting positions
in the United Way 300.
'I am looking forward to returning to Kansas with KCR,"
says Green, 'we have another tough week of qualifying ahead
of us, but I think the BMAR Chevrolet is ready to go."
Practice begins Friday morning beginning at 10 with the
final session taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
Qualifying is scheduled to start at 5:05 p.m. Friday evening
and will air on Speed. The United Way 300 will take place
on Saturday at 2:10 p.m. on NBC. All times are eastern.
