Green at Lowe’s

Eddyville, Ky. – This weekend Mark Green and his Vassarette racing team will travel to Concord, NC to compete under the lights in the Dollar General 300. Mark Green is quite familiar with the Lowe’s Motor Speedway. With 12 starts, Mark Green has one top 5, and four top 20 finishes at the 1.5 mile track.

“We had a good test here a few weeks ago,” says Green. “The guys at the shop have been working really hard to get me a competitive car. I really appreciate all their hard work and dedication”

This week Vassarette will be on the hood of both Green’s #23 Keith Coleman Racing Chevrolet and teammate Kim Crosby’s #26.

This weekend, Green will be forced to make the field on time in the #23 Vassarette Chevrolet. With 50 cars in the field, he is one of 19 drivers competing for the remaining 12 starting positions in Friday night’s Dollar General 300.

Practice begins Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., with the final session taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Qualifying is scheduled for Friday afternoon at 2:45 p.m. and will air on SPEED. The Dollar General 300 will take place Friday night under the lights starting at 8 p.m. on TNT. All times are eastern.
